Tim Anderson Hitless In Lineup Return In Friday’s Win
8 months agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson (neck), who returned to Friday’s lineup, went 0-for-4 with a run scored in the 6-0 win against the Detroit Tigers. The 30-year-old missed Wednesday's outing with neck stiffness, but he was back in his customary leadoff spot and shortstop position after Thursday's off day. Anderson remains a decent source of runs for the rest of the way, but this inferior version of the two-time All-Star is barely worth holding otherwise. Barring a miraculous turnaround, Anderson is set to go down arguably as fantasy's biggest hitting bust of 2023, batting .237 with one home run, 24 RBI, 47 runs scored, and 13 stolen bases in 430 at-bats. Anderson's 2024 ADP should certainly be interesting this winter.
