Stephen Curry Not Expected To Play Wednesday
2 months agoGolden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr doesn't expect guard Stephen Curry (ankle) to play in Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Curry's sprained right ankle that he sustained in last Thursday's loss to the Chicago Bulls is set to be re-evaluated on Tuesday, but fantasy managers should consider him doubtful at best against Dallas. Assuming he's soon officially ruled out for Wednesday, the 35-year-old two-time MVP's next chance to return comes during Saturday's showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers. Chris Paul has orchestrated Golden State's offense and enjoyed heightened fantasy value in Curry's stead, starting the past two contests and averaging 14.8 points, 7.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 2.2 three-pointers over four appearances without Curry this year.
