Raptors Resting RJ Barrett
1 month agoToronto Raptors forward RJ Barrett (rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 23-52 Raptors will give Barrett the second night of their back-to-back off after the Canadian swingman scored 28 points in 26 minutes during his return from a nine-game absence to mourn the passing of his younger brother. Fantasy managers can expect Barrett back for Friday's tilt against the Milwaukee Bucks. One of Garrett Temple and Jordan Nwora should jump into Toronto's first unit with Bruce Brown (knee) doubtful on Wednesday, but neither are recommended pickups in the championship round against a vaunted Minnesota defense that features the best defensive efficiency rating (106.0) in the Association.
