Rafael Devers Clubs Two Homers For Third Time This Year
11 months agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in a 7-6 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday. The first homer was a Fenway Park special; the 26-year-old barely tucked a 311-foot fly ball inside the Pesky Pole in right field. Devers' second blast was a more resounding 410-footer in the 10th inning to keep the game close for Boston. He had a two-homer effort in April and another in May, so Devers owns a multi-HR outburst in each full month of play thus far. The former Silver Slugger's bat is starting to ignite with four long balls over his last five outings and he's now up to 17 round-trippers alongside 56 RBI this year.
