3 days agoHouston Rockets forward Danuel House (back) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. It's looking like Friday is going to be the second straight game that House misses. Ben McLemore may start again, while Austin Rivers gets more minutes off the bench. Both could be worth a look in deep leagues while the Rockets are banged up.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Mark Berman

3 days agoCharlotte Hornets forward Nicolas Batum (finger) is not expected to suit up for Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons. He fractured his middle finger on October 24 and hasn't played since then. Batum was expected to miss three to four weeks of action because of the injury. He's currently in the third week, but is getting closer to playing. However, he's a veteran on a rebuilding team and isn't expected to have much impact in fantasy leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Rick Bonnell

3 days agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. It's the second game of a back-to-back set, so the Clippers will be cautious here. It's just a sore calf, so Beverley is expected to only miss one game. Lou Williams should see a boost in playing time and will be a popular DFS option.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Jovan Buha

3 days agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (rest) will sit out against the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. It's the second game of a back-to-back set, so the Clippers will rest Leonard. Paul George (shoulder) is making his season debut, so he'll be asked to carry the load on offense without Leonard available.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Jovan Buha

3 days agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Paul George (shoulder) is expected to make his regular season debut against the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. George has been out for the first few weeks of the season while rehabbing his shoulder injury. Kawhi Leonard (rest) won't suit up for Thursday's contest. George could be on a minutes limit, but should be asked to carry the load on offense.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Jovan Buha

3 days agoCharlotte Hornets forward Dwayne Bacon (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Bacon didn't play on Wednesday and was unable to suit up for Thursday's practice. However, the team believes the knee issue is minor and Bacon should be fine going forward. Bacon could end up coming off the bench, so he's really only worth a look in deep leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: The Athletic

3 days agoAtlanta Hawks guard Kevin Huerter (shoulder) is expected to miss significant time after suffering an injury. Head coach Lloyd Pierce said "it's going to take some time" for Huerter to get back on the court. The MRI didn't reveal a tear, but the Hawks will remain cautious. Cam Reddish and Deandre Bembry will get boosted minutes from this. Both players are worth looking at in deep leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Sarah K. Spencer

3 days agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Denver Nuggets. However, the Nets might play it safe, so fantasy owners shouldn't plug him in just yet. Spencer Dinwiddie would be looking at heavy minutes without Irving and be a popular DFS option. More information should be known about Irving's status after shootaround.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Anthony Puccio

3 days agoOrlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic scored 25 points on 11-for-18 shooting from the field and 2-for-4 from three-point range in Wednesday's 112-97 victory against the 76ers. The 29-year-old added 12 rebounds, two assists, a +14 rating and only one turnover in 33 minutes of action. Through 11 games, Vucevic is averaging 17.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.8 steals while extending his double-double streak to five straight games — and should be started in all fantasy formats for his all-around production.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

3 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two turnovers in Wednesday's 112-97 loss to the Magic. Simmons went 9-for-12 from the field, marking the most field goals he has made in a game since the season opener against the Celtics. Simmons is yet to attempt a three-pointer through nine games, but the 23-year-old is averaging 13.9 points, 6.6 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.6 steals while shooting 55% from the field, making him a must start candidate in all formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

3 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Josh Richardson finished with a team-high 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field in Wednesday's 112-97 loss to the Magic. The 26-year-old added six rebounds, five assists, two three-pointers and one steal in 29 minutes of action. Through 11 games this season, Richardson is averaging 14.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and a 41% field goal percentage in a starting role for one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference — making him worth owning in all formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

3 days agoWashington Wizards point guard Isaiah Thomas enjoyed his return to the TD Garden on Wednesday, scoring 18 points and dishing out seven assists in a 140-133 loss. He shot 7-for-14 from the field, including a very good 3-for-6 from downtown. Thomas had managed just 21 points in total in the previous two games, so this will be a nice little confidence booster for him ahead of Friday's clash with Minnesota. It's a great matchup for Thomas, as the Timberwolves are giving up the second-most points per 48 minutes to opposing point guards this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

3 days agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal scored 44 points on Wednesday against Boston, but it wasn't enough to lead the team to victory. He was red-hot in the eventual 140-133 loss, going 17-for-27 from the field and 4-for-6 from three-point range. Beal also had six assists and five rebounds in his second 40-point game of the season. The 26-year-old is set for another career year, even if the team lacks quality and isn't going anywhere. He'll face the T-Wolves next in a matchup against a side that's allowing the opposition to shoot close to 40 percent from deep this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

3 days agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown produced another solid outing on Wednesday against Washington, scoring 22 points on 9-for-19 shooting in a 140-133 win. Brown missed all three of his attempts from deep, but he did add five rebounds, four assists and one steal to his line. The 22-year-old has now tallied at least 20 points in three consecutive games and he's averaging 20.1 points for the season with 6.7 rebounds and a pair of assists. He should be able to continue his good scoring run on Friday against the Warriors, who are giving up 121.1 points per game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

3 days agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, who scored only five points in Monday's win over Dallas, returned to form on Wednesday, notching 23 points in a 140-133 win against Washington. He still struggled from deep with a 1-for-5 record, but his overall shooting was fine at 9-for-20. Tatum also had his third consecutive game with four assists, while adding three rebounds to his line as well. His three-point percentage (40.3) is actually better than his overall efficiency (39.7 percent) at the moment, so Tatum's shooting has been very inconsistent this season. Despite the struggles, he's still putting points on the board and posting another 20-plus point effort shouldn't be a problem in the next matchup against the Warriors, who own a league-worst 117.2 defensive rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
