Ozzie Albies Moves Up To The Two-Hole On Thursday
11 months agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies is batting second for the first time this season against southpaw Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. The 26-year-old has only started one game out of the two-hole since last year. Albies is hitting just .218 (31-for-142) with four homers, 21 RBI, and zero stolen bases while batting second since 2020. That caveat is not nearly enough to dislodge the two-time Silver Slugger from fantasy lineups. Albies is slashing .333/.419/.694 with four big flies and eight RBI over his last 43 plate appearances. The two-time All-Star is victimizing southpaws for a .394 BA with a mighty 1.121 OPS over 71 at-bats this year. Consider Albies one of the top fantasy plays at the keystone across all settings on Thursday.
