"Nothing Alarming" For Stephen Curry After MRI
5 months agoGolden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said there was "good news" with guard Stephen Curry's (knee) MRI. "Nothing alarming. He is day-to-day and we will see. If he misses another game or two, it's not going to be anything long-term," Kerr shared of Curry's injury. It coincides with Tuesday's report from The Athletic's Shams Charania that Curry was not expected to miss much time with what is believed to be a right-knee sprain. Thursday's game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder signifies Curry's next date for a possible return, but he sounds fairly questionable for that one. We couldn't get a vantage point of Golden State's true rotation on Tuesday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves without the two-time scoring champion, since Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were ejected minutes into the contest. But after handling 36 minutes against Minnesota, Chris Paul certainly experienced a boost in playing time with Steph out.
