No Clippers Debut For James Harden Against Lakers
6 months agoLos Angeles Clippers guard James Harden (not injury related) will not make his team debut in Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. We'll have to wait a bit longer for Harden's highly-anticipated first showing in his new digs, and he's not dealing with any type of injury. The Clippers are out of action until Monday against the New York Knicks, so that meeting marks the 34-year-old three-time scoring champion's next possibility to appear on the hardwood for the first time in 2023-24. It would be reasonable to pencil Harden in as closer to probable for that one with Shams Charania calling it the "target". Spark-plug Bones Hyland should get another crack in head coach Tyronn Lue's starting backcourt alongside Russell Westbrook, while sixth man Norman Powell sees more minutes off the bench in Wednesday's "Battle of L.A."
