Miles Bridges May Not Be Allowed To Play In Toronto
4 months agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was denied entry into Canada due to his current legal situation. The Hornets are going through the process of trying to get that decision reversed ahead of Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Bridges' availability on the court to begin with is a controversial topic among NBA fans, after the 25-year-old missed all of 2022-23 and 2023-24's first 10 games due to a 2022 domestic violence case. Bridges also has a court date scheduled on Feb. 20 for the alleged violation of a protection order related to the incident. Bridges is playing top-50 fantasy ball, though, averaging 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 36.1 minutes across 14 games. Charlotte's rotation might be a mess on Monday, but Brandon Miller could get plenty of DFS attention and JT Thor would likely handle more playing time if Bridges can't get the go-ahead.
