Markelle Fultz Remains On The Shelf
6 months agoOrlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls for the sixth time out of his last seven contests. The Magic continue to declare Fultz out well in advance of games and without even going through morning shootaround, as he remains hobbled by left knee tendinitis. It's a cause for worry for the fantasy managers of the talented 25-year-old playmaker, who just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to avoiding injuries. Lacking any kind of firm timetable for a return, Fultz, bordering on drop status in shallower formats, will hope to be able to suit up for Friday's road rematch and In-Season Tournament clash with the Bulls. Regardless of who head coach Jamahl Mosley chooses to start, Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony will enjoy more playmaking chances while 2023 first-round pick Anthony Black sticks around on the deep-league radar.
