Marcus Morris Sr. Not Practicing Thursday
7 months agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris Sr. (groin) won't participate in Thursday's practice but is improving in his recovery from a left groin strain. Morris has sat out LA's first two preseason games with the injury, but it's promising to hear he's making progress. The 34-year-old's next chance to suit back up for the Clippers doesn't arrive until Tuesday's exhibition versus the Denver Nuggets, so he has some extra time to mend. Though Morris isn't on most fantasy radars at this time, the veteran could occupy a starting role for head coach Tyronn Lue this year. Terance Mann and Robert Covington should remain names to watch at the end of fantasy drafts for as long as Morris is out.
