Malcolm Brogdon Still Not Ready Wednesday
5 months agoThe Portland Trail Blazers have ruled out guard Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) for Wednesday's game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. That'll be a third consecutive absence for Brogdon due to a left hamstring strain, and it couldn't come at a worse time for Portland with guards Anfernee Simons (thumb) and Scoot Henderson (ankle) also on the mend. Swingman Shaedon Sharpe (knee), who is listed as probable on Wednesday, should continue shouldering a massive workload while leading the Association in minutes per game (39.6). Combo guard Skylar Mays, averaging 33.6 minutes with double-digit assists during each of the last three contests, remains on the streaming map against the Cavs. The Blazers are back in action on Friday for In-Season Tournament play with the Los Angeles Lakers, which is Brogdon's next shot to suit up.
