Lonnie Walker IV Out With Tight Hamstring
3 months agoBrooklyn Nets guard Lonnie Walker IV (hamstring) will not play in Tuesday's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks. After playing only five minutes for Brooklyn in Monday's loss to the Golden State Warriors, Walker isn't ready to go on the second night of a back-to-back due to tightness in his left hamstring. The 25-year-old swingman has quietly been one of the Association's most productive reserves this year, serving as a spark plug off Brooklyn's bench with averages of 12.0 points and 2.2 treys while shooting a career-high 47.6% from the floor and 43.6% from downtown. Ben Simmons is a candidate for an expanded role with Cameron Johnson (adductor) also out, making Dennis Smith Jr. a deep-league fantasy streamer for dimes and swipes.
