Lonnie Walker IV Active Against Magic
6 months agoBrooklyn Nets guard/forward Lonnie Walker IV (knee) has been upgraded from questionable to available for Tuesday's game versus the Orlando Magic. A left knee contusion held Walker to 14 minutes during Sunday's eventual 102-94 win over the Washington Wizards, but he's good to go on Tuesday. The 24-year-old swingman has proven to be a serviceable offseason addition by the Nets during the season's early goings, playing top-100 ball in 9-category setups with 15.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.2 trifectas per game. With Cam Thomas (ankle) and Ben Simmons (hip) still missing for Brooklyn, Walker is worthy of season-long streaming attention as a key reserve for head coach Jacque Vaughn against Orlando and for the time being.
