Kyle Tucker Swipes Two Bags In Win
9 months agoHouston Astros right fielder Kyle Tucker went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run scored in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Colorado Rockies. The 26-year-old doubled during the sixth inning before eventually coming around to score after a Jose Abreu single. Tucker then swiped both second and third base following an eighth-inning walk. The 2023 All-Star has performed admirably recently, batting .380 with five home runs, 21 RBI, three pilfers, and 16 runs scored in his last 21 games (79 at-bats). Tucker looks forward to a four-game set versus the hapless Oakland Athletics starting on Thursday. He only has two thefts in 40 games against Oakland since 2021, but Tucker is hitting a powerful .248 (149 ABs) with 13 homers and 33 RBI vs. the A's in this span.
