Khris Middleton Still Out Against Nuggets
3 months agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (ankle) remains out for Monday's game versus the Denver Nuggets. A sprained left ankle sustained early in last Tuesday's loss to the Phoenix Suns will cost Middleton a third contest in a row, and head coach Doc Rivers didn't sound optimistic about the veteran forward's chances of returning before the All-Star break following Friday's blowout win over the Charlotte Hornets. Middleton should be considered doubtful at best when the Bucks host the Miami Heat on Tuesday. Jae Crowder has directly benefitted fantasy-wise from Middleton's absence, averaging 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 three-pointers in 35.6 minutes over his past three appearances, but he'll be a low-end streamer in a tough matchup on Monday against a Nuggets team that's giving up the sixth-fewest points per game (111.0) in the Association this year.
