Kevin Durant Set To Play Against Nets
5 months agoPhoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game versus the Brooklyn Nets after missing two games with a sprained left ankle. The stars finally appear to have aligned for all three of Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal to be in uniform on Wednesday for the first time in 2023-24, ushering in the birth of a new era of Suns basketball. The DFS appeal of each star becomes a bit diminished with Phoenix now at full strength, but Durant may have an added layer of motivation against a Nets team that he was traded away from at last year's deadline. KD has been a first-round fantasy value while averaging north of 30 points per game this year, and a minutes restriction seems unlikely. Chimezie Metu got the starting nod and had a season-high 14 points and three triples in 25 minutes on Tuesday, but he could very well return to DNP-CD status against Brooklyn.
