Ketel Marte Getting Hot, Hits Third Home Run In Four Games
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two runs and two walks in the team's win over the Rangers. Marte has put together a fairly strong start to 2023, slashing .267/.325/.514 across 105 at-bats. He came with a discounted draft price to start the year after a down 2022, but the 29-year-old has rebounded thus far. As long as he's leading off or hitting second in the Arizona lineup with regularity, the switch-hitting Marte should remain a consistent option at second base for fantasy managers. He's got six RBI over his last four contests, and Marte will aim to stay locked in at the plate for an upcoming weekend series against the Nationals.
