4 months agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes went 3-for-4 with a double, a three-run homer, and an additional RBI to power the squad to a comeback 7-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. The 26-year-old now has a raised .231 BA and .375 SLG, but he might be swinging the bat better than those numbers insinuate. Hayes possesses an improved 17.4% strikeout rate accompanied by a 92.6 average exit velocity this year. The former first-round pick might be rostered in deep leagues already for his tantalizing upside, but fantasy managers in shallow formats shouldn't forget about him, either.
