Karl-Anthony Towns Believes He Is “Fully Healthy”
9 months agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns reportedly feels like he is back at full strength after recovering from a calf injury last season. Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic shared during a recent podcast that the star big man is "feeling fully healthy again, for the first time since before he was injured". Towns was limited to just 29 regular-season games after suffering a Grade 3 calf strain on Nov. 28, 2022. The 27-year-old already saw his per-game fantasy value decrease with the addition of Rudy Gobert down low; Towns averaged his lowest amount of points (20.8), rebounds (8.1), and blocks (0.6) since his rookie campaign. It's great to hear he should enter the upcoming season with a clean bill of health, but Towns probably won't be a sure-fire first-round pick in drafts this fall.
