Jrue Holiday Sitting Against Pistons
1 month agoThe Boston Celtics have ruled out guard Jrue Holiday (shoulder) for Monday's contest versus the Detroit Pistons. Dealing with a right shoulder contusion in the aftermath of Sunday's blowout win over the Washington Wizards, Holiday will catch a breather on the second leg of Boston's back-to-back against the last-place Pistons. The two-way star guard should have a good chance at suiting up for Wednesday's clash between two Eastern Conference heavyweights and a revenge game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Derrick White has been a second-round player overall in nine-category fantasy leagues, and across six games without Holiday this year, he's averaging 16.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.1 three-pointers, and 2.1 combined steals plus blocks and is in a smash spot against a Detroit team that's allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards.
