Josh Giddey Back In Tuesday's Lineup
4 months agoOklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Josh Giddey (ankle) is available to make his return from a one-game absence for Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Giddey left last Thursday's contest with a sprained left ankle and proceeded to miss Saturday's tilt versus the Los Angeles Lakers with the injury, but he is good to go on Tuesday. The 2021 No. 6 overall pick broke out in 2022-23 but has taken a step back on a talented Thunder team in Year 3, watching each of his points (11.8), rebounds (6.0) and assists (4.3) per game plus his field-goal percentage (43.6%) drop significantly from a season ago. Giddey hasn't reached 30 minutes in a single game since Nov. 12, either. Defense-first rookie Cason Wallace will likely revert back to OKC's bench on Tuesday following his 24-minute spot start against the Lakers, and season-long fantasy managers can deploy Giddey despite facing the squad with the NBA's best defensive efficiency rating (104.4).
