Jimmy Butler Downgraded To Out Against Bucks
6 months agoMiami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's In-Season Tournament game versus the Milwaukee Bucks. Butler's right ankle sprain will force him to the bench for the second game in a row, after he did not participate in Monday's practice due to the injury. Butler should be deemed day-to-day ahead of Thursday's tilt against the Indiana Pacers. The 34-year-old five-time All-NBA forward is tallying 20.7 points, 4.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 threes per game this year, bordering on the Round 3/4 edge in 9-category fantasy value. Jaime Jaquez Jr., Josh Richardson, and Caleb Martin are all set to benefit in terms of playing time with Butler sidelined on Tuesday in a rematch with the Bucks from the 2022-23 Eastern Conference First Round.
