Jazz List Walker Kessler As Probable
6 months agoUtah Jazz center Walker Kessler (elbow) is deemed probable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. It's the second night of a back-to-back for Utah after topping the Memphis Grizzlies 133-109 on Wednesday, but the 22-year-old interior force looks likely to play despite left elbow soreness. Kessler's minutes may be frustrating managers at just 22.8 per game this year, but head coach Will Hardy's versatile rotation allows him the flexibility to assign minutes based on matchups quite often. It's fair to expect Kessler to somewhat mirror the playing time of Wendell Carter Jr. on Thursday, and Orlando's featured center is averaging 29.5 minutes so far this season. Short of top-150 value with averages of just 8.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks, Kessler remains a buy-low option and contrarian DFS play until his role becomes more stable.
