Jaylen Brown Off Wednesday’s Injury Report
4 months agoBoston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (knee) isn't seen on the team's injury report ahead of Wednesday's game versus the San Antonio Spurs. Brown required a one-game absence due to a hyperextended right knee, sitting out Monday's win over the Toronto Raptors. 19-0 at TD Garden, the Celtics should be massive favorites at home against a 7-32 Spurs squad, perhaps allowing them to manage Brown's minutes if they're carrying a big lead late. San Antonio is giving up the fourth-most points per game (121.4) this season, and Brown has caught fire over his last five games with averages of 29.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.4 three-pointers in 32.7 minutes since Jan. 6. Al Horford logged his third double-double of the season in Monday's start and would figure to revert back to Boston's bench, but each of Kristaps Porzingis (knee), Jrue Holiday (elbow), and Derrick White (ankle) are questionable on Wednesday.
