Jamal Murray Likely Out Through November
6 months agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (hamstring) is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of November while he recovers from a right hamstring strain. This is a far murkier development after we last heard head coach Michael Malone say that Murray would miss a minimum of one week. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski notes that Denver is "taking a cautious approach to assure that there will be no lingering issues", so Murray's strain could be a fairly severe one. It leaves fantasy managers without the star 26-year-old point man for the next three-to-four weeks, and Murray takes 16.3 points, 7.4 assists, and 2.0 threes in 30.9 minutes per game to the shelf. Reggie Jackson is the next man up on the depth chart as a decent source of points, threes, and assists, but the offense will center around Nikola Jokic during Murray's absence. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope should be rostered in all 12-team leagues at this point.
