Isaiah Livers Still Out For Multiple Weeks
6 months agoDetroit Pistons forward Isaiah Livers (ankle), who is out for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Miami Heat, will be re-evaluated in four weeks with a left ankle sprain. It adds to a rash of significant injuries to Detroit's rotation to kick off the 2023-24 campaign, as Livers represents one of three Pistons slated to be sidelined for at least the first dozen games of the season. The 25-year-old has been tending to his Grade 3 sprain for three weeks now, but he was always unlikely to be ready for the regular season. Joe Harris should be relied on quite a bit more off the bench, with Marvin Bagley III getting more run at power forward for head coach Monty Williams. Livers carries little to no fantasy relevance at this juncture.
