Heat Won’t Have Jimmy Butler Until After All-Star Break
2 months agoThe Miami Heat will be without forward Jimmy Butler (personal) for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks as well as Wednesday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, ruling him out through the All-Star break. The Heat granted Butler a leave of absence on Sunday to mourn the loss of a family member, and the All-Star forward's next chance to return to the floor comes on Feb. 23 against the New Orleans Pelicans. The controls to Miami's offense will be left to Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo, with the likes of Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. soaking up extra minutes in Butler's stead. Although Jaquez is averaging only 7.4 points on 35.6% shooting from the floor, 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.0 threes over eight games since returning on Jan. 27 from a five-game absence with a groin strain, he carries the highest fantasy upside of the bunch and is worth adding in most leagues.
