Giannis Antetokounmpo Available Against Hornets
2 months agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) has been upgraded to available for Thursday's meeting with the Charlotte Hornets. Antetokounmpo will play through patellar tendinitis in his right knee against the 15-43 Hornets, and he hasn't missed a game since Jan. 17. If this game gets out of hand, however, it should be noted that the Bucks could look to monitor the two-time MVP's minutes with the Chicago Bulls on tap for the second leg of a back-to-back on Friday. Over his last 10 games, Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.0 points on 64.4% shooting from the field, 10.0 boards, and 6.9 assists in 33.1 minutes and is obviously a set-and-forget fantasy play in season-long leagues. Thursday's spot against a Charlotte team allowing more DraftKings points to opposing power forwards than any other gives the Greek Freak serious upside to go off for a vintage performance if this contest stays competitive.
