Freddie Freeman Tallies Fourth Four-Hit Attack In Win
9 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman went 4-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base, and two runs scored in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Oakland Athletics. The 33-year-old would get busy after a first-inning flyout, leading off the fourth frame with a single which helped jump-start a four-run Dodgers surge. Freeman then doubled during the fifth before singling in the seventh, eventually coming around to score another run. The superstar then put a bow on his big night with an eighth-inning RBI single to provide some insurance, adding a swipe in the frame, too. It was Freeman's fourth four-hit effort of the year. MLB's doubles leader (36) has certainly been amazing all year, but Freeman is seriously raking of late. The three-time Silver Slugger is batting .425 (34-for-80) with seven home runs, eight doubles, and 20 RBI in his last 20 games.
