Freddie Freeman Fine After Hit-By-Pitch
9 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman (knee) came out of Saturday's game versus the Colorado Rockies after taking a hit-by-pitch to his right knee in the seventh inning. He went 0-for-3 before his night ended. The 33-year-old was not pinch-run for, however, and felt much better after getting treatment following the contest. X-rays were deemed unnecessary, and it looks like Freeman is prepared to get right back into Sunday's lineup without potentially needing his first day off of the campaign. The fantasy superstar is hitting .342 with 28 home runs, an MLB-leading 43 doubles, 83 RBI, 101 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases in 532 plate appearances (116 games).
