Ezequiel Tovar Stays Hot In Friday’s Win
8 months agoColorado Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Friday's lopsided 14-1 triumph over the Chicago White Sox. The 22-year-old popped a first-inning two-run homer to get Colorado in the scoring column before driving in another run on a fielder's choice with the game well in hand during the seventh frame. Tovar is starting to put together the talent that made him the No. 1 Rockies prospect entering 2022. Over his last 11 games, Tovar is hitting .364 (16-for-44) with four big flies, three doubles, seven RBI, and two stolen bases since Aug. 7. The speedy infielder's fantasy arrow is beginning to shoot up especially while batting first or second quite a bit of late.
