Dennis Schroder Pops Up As Questionable
5 months agoToronto Raptors guard Dennis Schroder (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Milwaukee Bucks. Right knee soreness has caused Schroder to suddenly find his way on the injury report, with his availability now blurred for Wednesday's tilt. The 30-year-old playmaker has rewarded fantasy managers who took a late-round flier on him following Fred VanVleet's exit, returning mid-round 9-category worth with averages of 15.4 points, 7.7 assists, 1.7 threes, and 1.0 steals this season. If Schroder can't go, Toronto next sees an In-Season Tournament duel with the Boston Celtics on Friday. With Gary Trent Jr. (foot) not expected to play, head coach Darko Rajakovic could be down to Malachi Flynn at the one against the Bucks. Scottie Barnes, an early 2023-24 Most Improved Player of the Year candidate, would likely play some point forward for the Raptors if Schroder is sidelined.
