Corbin Carroll Officially In Thursday’s Lineup
8 months agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (wrist) is officially in Thursday's lineup leading off against the Chicago Cubs and right-hander Javier Assad. It coincides with a previous report that manager Torey Lovullo intended on playing the 23-year-old for Game 1 of this series after he came away with just a right wrist contusion following Wednesday's hit-by-pitch. Carroll gears up for a vital four-game set in the National League Wild Card hunt with a .280 batting average, 24 home runs, 68 RBI, 101 runs scored, and 41 stolen bases through 479 at-bats this year. The five-category stud is slugging .566 in 350 ABs against right-handed pitching, as if fantasy managers needed to be convinced that Carroll belongs in all lineups.
