Chris Taylor, David Peralta Both Forced From Friday’s Contest
11 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers super utility player Chris Taylor (knee) and outfielder David Peralta (hamstring) both exited Friday's matchup with the San Francisco Giants. Taylor experienced right knee pain while Peralta suffered a left a hamstring strain, causing their respective departures early in the game. Michael Busch took over at third base for Taylor, going 0-for-4 in relief. James Outman came on for Peralta, going 2-for-4 with two RBI in the process. Peralta was quietly raking lately, hitting a robust .432 with two homers and seven RBI over his last 44 at-bats. Taylor has been playing more while filling in for the sidelined Max Muncy (hamstring) recently, but the Dodgers depth would be further extended under these desperate circumstances. Expect Los Angeles to provide an update on the injuries of the two veterans ahead of Saturday's game.
