Chris Paul Sidelined At Least Three Weeks
4 months agoGolden State Warriors guard Chris Paul (hand) underwent surgery on his left hand on Monday, and he will be re-evaluated in three weeks. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Sunday that Paul is likely to miss four-to-six weeks, so fantasy managers can expect him to be shut down for at least the next three until another update presents itself. Injured during Friday's win over the Detroit Pistons, CP3 holds a career-low 8.9 points and 7.2 assists with 1.3 triples and 1.1 steals in 27.6 minutes per game covering 32 contests (11 starts) but should be stashed in the majority of leagues, considering dimes are difficult to find on waiver wires. Despite his recent struggles, rookie first-rounder Brandin Podziemski should be rostered at least until Draymond Green (suspension) returns to game action.
