Celtics Without Jayson Tatum Monday
4 months agoThe Boston Celtics say that neither forward Jayson Tatum (ankle) nor Sam Hauser (shoulder) will be available on Monday against the Indiana Pacers. The Celtics have been managing Tatum's sprained left ankle since he suffered the injury on Dec. 19, and they'll hope he can return for Wednesday's showdown versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. Hauser's status is worth noting as well because he would have been a likely candidate to replace Tatum in Boston's starting lineup. Depending on how head coach Joe Mazzulla lines things up against the Pacers, it leaves Al Horford and Payton Pritchard in play as possible DFS options. In 12 games as a starter this season, Horford is averaging 8.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.7 threes, and 1.5 blocks in 31.3 minutes.
