Celtics Remove Jaylen Brown From Injury Report
3 months agoThe Boston Celtics have removed forward Jaylen Brown (back) from their injury report ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Atlanta Hawks. After practicing on Tuesday, per The Athletic's Aaron Weiss, Brown is cleared to play in the sixth outing of a seven-game homestand following a one-game absence in Sunday's easy win over the Memphis Grizzlies with tightness in his lower back. The 27-year-old All-Star's usage has taken a slight dip in a loaded Celtics lineup during 2023-24, but he's still floating around fantasy's top 50 in points leagues with averages of 22.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.0 three-pointers, and 1.1 steals over 46 games. Wednesday's contest holds blowout risk in Boston's favor, but Brown is in a great spot against a Hawks team that ranks 29th in opponent field-goal percentage (50.3%) this season.
