5 months agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (ribs) and infielder Aledmys Diaz (hamstring) are expected to begin minor league rehab assignments next week. Diaz is a couple days ahead of Correa. Correa has struggled to stay healthy the last two years, but he's a high-end fantasy shortstop when he's on the field. His owners will hope he can pick up where he left off with his .295/.360/.547 slash line, 11 homers, 26 runs, 35 RBI and a steal in 190 at-bats. He's been out since May 26 after a bizarre injury during an in-home massage. Diaz is having a fine year as a utility man for the 'Stros, but his fantasy appeal is limited to AL-only leagues with infrequent playing time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
