Caris LeVert Playing With Minutes Cap Against Heat
5 months agoCleveland Cavaliers guard/forward Caris LeVert (knee) will play on a minutes restriction in Wednesday's game versus the Miami Heat. LeVert was listed for left knee injury management that cost him the last two contests, but it fortunately never came off as a serious problem. The 29-year-old point forward's return arrives at an opportune juncture for Cleveland, who are still missing franchise cornerstone Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) with a bad hamstring. LeVert still carries DFS appeal in a reduced role, despite the Cavs sporting the slowest offense in the NBA in terms of possessions per game (96.8). Wednesday's offering appropriately shows a slate-low 211.5-point implied total against the Heat, but LeVert is a top-100 fantasy guy with 18.0 points, 3.8 assists, 1.9 treys, and 1.3 steals per game.
