Caris LeVert Out With Sprained Elbow
2 months agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert (elbow) is out for Friday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. A sprained right elbow made LeVert a late addition to the injury report, and the veteran swingman won't be available for the Cavs on Friday. The 29-year-old point forward tends to run hot and cold, and he appeared to be starting up a hot streak lately, supplying 14.3 points on 50.0% shooting from the field, 9.7 assists, 7.7 boards, and 1.7 treys per game across his past three showings. The 9-49 Pistons are yielding the sixth-most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards in 2023-24, so with Donovan Mitchell's (knee) void vacating the two-guard spot in Cleveland's starting five, Isaac Okoro is in play as a salary-relief DFS option with plenty of backcourt minutes freed up. Over his last six games, Okoro is totaling 12.2 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.2 threes on 46.4% shooting from downtown in 25.6 minutes per contest.
