Bryce Harper Slugs Sixth Homer In Win
9 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman/designated hitter Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 9-6 win over the Kansas City Royals. The 30-year-old started off his big night with a first-inning single before hitting a third-inning double. Harper then smacked a fifth-inning two-run bomb to help Philly close the gap on the scoreboard. The two-time NL MVP is providing plenty of average while batting .296, but fantasy managers are hoping Saturday's long ball sparks a power surge for Harper. He holds just six big flies and 34 RBI, but Harper does show 19 doubles through 294 at-bats this season.
