Brandon Ingram Sidelined For Another Game
6 months agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard/forward Brandon Ingram (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Knee soreness moved Ingram to the shelf as a late scratch before Monday's 130-102 blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors, but an MRI later showed no structural damage to his knee. The 26-year-old All-Star appears to be day-to-day, and we'll see if he is able to come back during Thursday's back end of a back-to-back versus the Detroit Pistons. Ingram is averaging 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists despite a shaky start from beyond the arc (16.7% three-point shooting). 2023 first-round pick Jordan Hawkins started and handled 35 minutes from head coach Willie Green in Ingram's absence on Monday and figures to be the main fantasy beneficiary on Wednesday once again.
