Bradley Beal Upgraded To Questionable
6 months agoPhoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (back) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls. It piggybacks on Shams Charania's prior report of "optimism" that Beal makes his much-awaited Suns debut either on Wednesday or Friday's In-Season Tourney game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The 30-year-old three-time All-Star has been nursing lower-back tightness since Opening Night, where he was deemed a true game-time decision for before this two-week absence. It's always felt as if Phoenix was exercising abundant caution with their prized offseason acquisition to ensure his long-term health, and we'll see if Beal is finally ready to give it a go on Wednesday. One of Grayson Allen or Eric Gordon would be displaced from the starting five if Beal returns, with both of them taking a usage hit. Kevin Durant would spend just a bit less time with the ball in his hands, but expect some improved efficiency to compensate.
