Bradley Beal Should Be Fine After Back Tweak
6 months agoPhoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (back) is expected to play in Wednesday's game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. The same can be said for backcourt mate Devin Booker (calf). Beal tweaked his back during Sunday's 111-99 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, which is the last thing fantasy managers want to hear after back spasms cost the 30-year-old star the first seven contests of the season. Beal should be deemed probable against Minnesota following the flare-up, and hopefully this doesn't become a recurring issue. Phoenix will likely see how Beal feels during Wednesday morning's shootaround and possibly pregame warmups before making a final determination on his status. The three-time All-Star is an easy buy-low candidate for anyone selling at a bargain, since Beal is still shaking off the rust with an uncharacteristic 39.1% rate from the field and 68.8% clip from the line over his first three games.
