Blazers Remove Malcolm Brogdon From Injury Report
3 months agoThe Portland Trail Blazers aren't including guard Malcolm Brogdon (knee) on their injury report for Thursday's game versus the Detroit Pistons. A right knee contusion cost Brogdon Sunday's loss to the Denver Nuggets, but he's got the green light to return on Thursday. Somewhat surprisingly staying put in Portland in the aftermath of Thursday's trade deadline, Brogdon is in an advantageous position against a Pistons squad that ranks 27th in opponent points per game (122.3) this year. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 19.0 points, 6.8 dimes, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.0 triples in 35.4 minutes while shooting 91.7% from the foul line through his prior nine games, and although it's possible the Blazers were showcasing the 31-year-old veteran ahead of the deadline in an attempt to move him, Brogdon belongs in all season-long fantasy lineups in this spot.
