Andrew Nembhard Back At Thursday’s Practice
7 months agoIndiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard (neck) participated in Thursday's practice. Nembhard didn't travel with the team for their two-game road trip to kick off the preseason due to a neck injury — as well as a kidney stone — but he appears to be improving after getting in a limited session. Indiana isn't back in action until Monday versus the Atlanta Hawks, so the 23-year-old combo guard has some time to return to the court. T.J. McConnell has started at the 1 in both of Indy's exhibition affairs so far, though franchise cornerstone Tyrese Haliburton hasn't appeared yet, either. It remains to be seen if Nembhard, who received 63 starts in his rookie year, will regularly play with the first unit after the Pacers signed Swiss Army knife Bruce Brown this past offseason.
