7 months agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (knee), who left the game early on Sunday, said his right knee is sore but doesn't think the injury is serious. He's hoping he can play on Monday. Simmons was hitless in three plate appearances on Sunday before leaving. He'll be day-to-day, but don't be surprised if the Angels hold him out a day or two in the final week of the season. Simmons is having a career year, hitting .296/.340/.424 with 11 home runs, 74 RBI and nine stolen bases.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
