Adolis Garcia Looks To Maintain Explosive Year
10 months agoThe Texas Rangers and right fielder Adolis Garcia begin their campaign's second half on Friday for a three-game series with the Cleveland Guardians. The 30-year-old earned his second career All-Star nod in the first half, hitting .261 with an .848 OPS, 23 home runs, an MLB-high 75 RBI, and six stolen bases across 348 at-bats. Garcia hasn't experienced the same success in his career against Cleveland, though, batting .191 with a .517 OPS, one RBI, and two swipes over 11 games (42 ABs) versus the Guardians since 2021. It's not enough to displace the dynamic slugger from season-long fantasy lineups, though, as Garcia has enjoyed a whopping 20 multi-RBI efforts in 2023.
