Aaron Judge Lifts Yankees With Three Homers In Win
9 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went 3-for-4 with three home runs and six RBI in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the Washington Nationals. As the Yankees sought a jolt in the biggest way after skidding for nine straight losses, the 31-year-old superstar detonated for the first three-HR performance of his career. Judge's first homer was a towering solo shot during the home first to get New York on the board, which was then followed by a majestic second-inning grand slam to break the game open early. He put the final touches on what was already a monster night by coming off the back end of back-to-back long balls with DJ LeMahieu in the seventh frame. Judge is slashing a robust .279/.406/.645 with 27 big flies, 54 RBI, and three stolen bases in 310 plate appearances this year.
